My Story - From Advocate to Coach

Driven by an unwavering dedication to justice and equity, I graduated in law, a foundation that propelled me into a three-decade career focused on alleviating inequities around the world.

Instead of practicing law, I worked in international affairs, dedicating myself to supporting victims of violence and abuse, preventing childhood adversity and fighting against injustice and impunity.

This professional lens provided a deep understanding of power dynamics and coercive control worldwide. Yet, it was in my personal life that I faced this reality closest: a relationship and children with a covert narcissist. My own separation exposed me to the frustrating reality that our family justice system is tragically ill-prepared to recognize and support victims of this specific abuse. I witnessed firsthand how manipulators use gaslighting, blame-shifting, silent treatments, and litigation abuse to control and destabilize their targets while attempting to project a flawless image.

This journey forced me to become an expert in navigating high-conflict dynamics, the most complex form of separation or divorce. Protecting myself and my children taught me profound resilience and gave me valuable insight into how  to build the best possible team around me to get through and get back up again.

I now dedicate all my experience—my three decades of advocacy, my legal background, my personal expertise in overcoming narcissistic abuse and my formal divorce coach certification —to you.

My role is to help you navigate this period, transforming a stressful and chaotic transition into a clear empowering path forward. We work strategically to empower you to stand your ground, advocate effectively, and achieve better outcomes for yourself and your children, all while protecting your mental health and saving you significant time and money.

My credentials

Having graduated in law, I spent over two decades as a human rights advocate, working in over 45 countries. My career was dedicated to protecting individuals and communities harmed by war, disaster, and abuse. I was particularly driven to support the most vulnerable, specializing in helping those harmed by individuals seeking to exert control and take advantage.

Through this work, I realized that falling victim to such abuse knows no borders and can happen even in a seemingly functional society. This understanding, combined with my own journey, now fuels my work as a certifying CDC Divorce Coach, a highly respected certification in this field. I dedicate myself to supporting others who, like me, need a helping hand to get back up.

Who are my clients

My clients come from all walks of life, many who were once on top of things now feel lost and unsure of their next steps. They're often filled with worries for their children, finances, and assets, sometimes paralyzed by fear. A high proportion have been in abusive relationships, which has damaged their self-esteem and self-worth, making it harder to think clearly and assert their best interests. My clients are mainly located across Canada, the States, or Europe.
